The wash house (French lavoir ) in Fougères , a French town in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was built in the 19th century.

The wash house on Rue des Vallées, which is open on three sides, consists of a simple wooden structure with a pent roof covered with slate shingles. The wash house is built directly on the Nançon River. It has two masonry ovens for hot laundry.
