Washington Msonza (born September 22, 1966 in Domboshava / Mashonaland East , Zimbabwe ) is an African artist.

Live and act

He is the son of Josef and Otlia Msonza, is married and has four children. He learned the carving trade from 1988 from his brother-in-law Albert Mamvura and his grandmother Locardia Ndandarika. He prefers to work with the material serpentine and marble . His abstract and figurative works testify to his deep trust in God. He worked as a workshop leader in Birkenried ( Gundelfingen an der Donau ), Salzburg , Bozen and Oberwallis (Switzerland).
