The moated castle Höckericht , also called Höckerigt , is a lost moated castle in the Chemnitz district of Schönau - Neustadt in Saxony .

The castle was founded around 1200 to 1250, first mentioned in a document in 1375 as a mansion in connection with the Rabenstein rule . In 1527 a farm and in 1696 a manor is occupied. The residence "Neustadt" emerged from the so-called "Drescher houses" of the manor at the end of the 16th century. After the Second World War, Höckericht was converted into a state property and the farm buildings demolished. A law firm was located in the manor house (Kanzleilehngut Höckericht).

The stables of the former moated castle only show traces of the terrain today.
