When the water hemisphere or water hemisphere the hemisphere which is earth denotes the (computationally determined) has the largest proportion of water.

Its center is located in the Pacific Ocean east of the Bounty Islands of New Zealand on 47 ° 13 '  S , 178 ° 28'  O coordinates: 47 ° 13 '0 "  S , 178 ° 28' 0"  O . From the continents or the land mass , it contains Australia , Antarctica and some parts of Asia (southeastern part of the Malay Archipelago ) and South America .
