The Isola Serafini hydropower plant was built near Monticelli d'Ongina in the, Province of Piacenza , Italy in the Po (river) . The largest gate structure in Italy belongs to its dam. The decommissioned Caorso nuclear power plant is on the banks of the reservoir .
