The house at Wassertorstraße 10 is a listed building in the district of Stadt Gernrode belonging to the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located northwest of the old town of Gernröder and is registered in the local register of monuments as an agricultural citizen's farm.

Architecture and history

The small courtyard has an irregular floor plan. Facing the street is a residential building that was converted at the beginning of the 20th century. It is baroque at its core and dates back to the early 18th century. On the courtyard side there is a staircase clad with board balusters typical of the construction period . In addition, there are classicist trails (as of 2007). The basement is partly designed as a vault made of rubble stones and possibly goes back to an older predecessor building.

Originally there was a gate system on the street. The residential building has a side wing, and there is also a single-storey outbuilding. There are classicist doors inside the building. The east side of the property is provided with a quarry stone enclosure.
