Wassili Witaljewitsch Misinow ( Russian Василий Витальевич Мизинов ; English Vasiliy Mizinov ; born December 29, 1997 ) is a Russian walker .

Athletic career

Vasily Misinov gained his first international experience at the 2015 European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna , Sweden , where he was disqualified in the 10,000 meter walk.

Starting under a neutral flag, he won the bronze medal in the 20 km walk at the 2018 European Championships in Berlin with a finish time of 1:20:50 hours behind the Spaniards Álvaro Martín and Diego García Carrera . At the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha , again under a neutral flag, he won the silver medal in the 20 km walk.
