Wassmer WA-80 Piranha is a small aircraft produced by the French manufacturer Wassmer Aviation in Issoire . It is a two or three - seater low -wing aircraft with nose landing gear . It is the two or three-seat version of the WA-50 model .

construction

Wassmer Aviation derived the design of the WA-80 Piranha from the WA-50 . The WA-80 is a single-engine low-wing aircraft with a piston engine and a rigid nose wheel landing gear . The fuselage , the wings and the tail unit are made entirely of GRP . The machine is powered by a Rolls-Royce Continental O-200 C-A with 100 HP (74 kW) and an Evra propeller with a diameter of 1.8 meters.
