action

season 1

The first season takes place in Bieszczady , on the border between Poland and Ukraine. At the center of the plot is a unit of the Polish border police that fights illegal border crossings - organized by smugglers - and smuggling in the border region. Almost all members die in a bomb attack during a celebration by the border guard; only Captain Rebrow, who smokes a cigarette in front of the accommodation, survives seriously injured. Shortly before the explosion, he received an SMS with the message "Boom". In the search for the perpetrators, which is led by the prosecutor Dobocz, the injured Rebrow comes under suspicion; he is now investigating himself on his own because he does not believe that his friend colleague Ewa, who was also in the hut during the explosion, actually died. In fact, a few days later, the border guards found Ewa's body in the forest, who had been shot in the head. During several house searches, prosecutor Dobocz found explosives and weapons at a sawmill owner who was targeted by the border police for illegal activities in the border area. At the same time, a bloody knife is found in Rebrow's oven, after which he is arrested and taken into custody. During an on-site visit, Rebrow escapes and on the run meets his colleague and supposed friend Grzywa, who confesses to having carried out the assassination attempt and that high-ranking military and ex-military instigated him to do so, who were also responsible for the murders of Ewa and one of them other colleague are responsible. Both end up fleeing in different directions.
