Water Lilly alias Monica Montesinos is one of the most important representatives of the Swiss electronic scene in the electro / minimal genre .

biography

The Spanish-born DJane started her electronic career in 1996 and began producing her own tracks in 1999. Her debut EP Let me be your fan was released on the Mental Groove label and made her worldwide breakthrough possible; She was immediately booked in clubs from New York to Berlin, Lisbon and Barcelona. After five more 12 "releases on Mental Groove and later on Lasergun Imprint, her first album Sputnika came out , again on Mental Groove. Many of her tracks were remixed by other DJs, including Steril and David Carretta. She also worked she is on the soundtrack of two films by French director Xavier Gianolli.
