Watershed is a rock band from South Africa formed in 1998 by lead singer and songwriter Craig Warren Hinds.
Band history
Watershed's music is reminiscent of REM - not least because of Hinds' voice. In Europe she became known in 2002 for the acoustic ballad Indigo Girl . An SWR3 music editor 'discovered' this title in South Africa and brought it to Germany. Since then, the band has released three albums and six singles in Germany. The album with the title Mosaic was released in Germany in May 2006, it was announced in advance on the radio with Live Another Day . The second single, Letters , had been on the radio since June 2006.
Her fourth album Staring at the Ceiling was released in South Africa in August 2008 and in some European countries on June 12, 2009. On April 16, 2010 Watersheds first "Best of" album entitled A Million Faces / 20 Hits - 10 Years was released . With this double CD, which also contained some new songs or songs that were previously unreleased in Europe, the band celebrated their 10th anniversary.
On September 10, 2015, the album Watch the Rain was released in South Africa .
