Waylon Jennings at JD’s is the debut album by Waylon Jennings , which he recorded with the Waylors in December 1964 . It mostly consists of cover versions of popular musicians back then such as Roy Orbison or Bob Dylan . The album was only made in very small numbers and also only sold in the bar At JD's , where Jennings and the Waylors performed regularly. All of the tracks on the album were recorded on December 3, 1964 at the Arizona Recorders recording studios in Phoenix .
In the course of time numerous new releases of the album appeared, among others under the titles Burning Memories , Wanted: Waylon Jennings or White Lightin ' ; most of them also contain the titles Jole Blon and When Sin Stops . These two tracks were Jenning's first single, released in 1958. There are only three authorized re-releases of the album, Clovis to Phoenix , The Journey: Destiny's Child and Phase One: The Earley Years 1959–1964 .
