Wayne Schell
Wayne V. Schell (born April 12, 1908 in Massachusetts , † April 25, 1988 ) was an American badminton player .
Career
Wayne Schell was one of the most important American badminton players in the period before World War II . In 1942 he was second in the national championships in men's doubles with William Faversham behind David Freeman and Chester Goss. After the war he was successful with the veterans several times. For example, he won the veteran doubles with Bob Wright in 1954. In 1977 he was inducted into the US Badminton Hall of Fame .
