USA Badminton Walk of Fame

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The USA Badminton Walk of Fame is a place to honor American badminton players as well as personalities of the badminton sport in the voluntary sector, patrons and other people who have become role models in this sport in the USA through performance, fair play and togetherness. The Walk of Fame was originally founded as the US Badminton Hall of Fame in 1956 and continued until 1998. In 2003, the virtual Hall of Fame was converted into a physical Walk of Fame, which opened on April 25, 2003 and is located in front of the Orange County Badminton Club at 1432 N. Main Strett in Orange, California. The monument on the local square was installed in August 2006.
