We of the Never-Never

We of the Never-Never is an autobiographical novel by Jeannie Gunn published in 1908 . It is about the author's life on the Elsey Station cattle ranch near Mataranka in the Northern Territory of Australia. Only the names of the people involved were exchanged, the stories told had happened that way. In 1927 the novel was translated into German and filmed in 1982 with the same name.
