The wedge Peak ( English for wedge peak is) a 2316 m high peaks in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Commonwealth Range, it rises from the Mount Patrick massif to the east of the Wedge Face . From here there is a good view to the north of Hood and Beardmore Glaciers .
Participants of the New Zealand Alpine Club Antarctic Expedition (1959–1960) achieved the first ascent on January 2, 1960 while surveying the Hood Glacier. They named him descriptively.
