Mount Patrick is a massive, mostly ice-covered and 2380 m (according to New Zealand information 2316 m ) high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises in the Commonwealth Range on the east side of the Beardmore Glacier .
Participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909), led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, discovered him. Shackleton probably named him after his uncle Patrick Dudley Shackleton (1837-1901).
