The Wee Papa Girl Rappers were a British hip hop duo and consisted of the sisters Sandra ( Total S. ) and Samantha Jane Lawrence ( Timmie , TV Tim ). The group released two albums and several singles . Her most famous hit was Wee Rule in 1988.

history

The band was formed in 1988. The band name goes back to the Creole-French expression "Oui Papa", which the father of the two often used. With the first singles Faith , a rap version of the George Michael hit , and Heat it up , they hit the English charts. The band's international breakthrough came with the title Wee Rule . The following releases could not confirm the success, so that the band broke up in 1991. A comeback attempt in 1993 under the name Wee Papa Girls also failed.
