The Kurfürstenstrasse crossroads is in the center of Eggersheim , a district of the Nörvenich municipality in the Düren district , North Rhine-Westphalia .
The cross stands directly on the wall of the residential building at Kurfürstenstrasse 1. It was erected in 1751 according to the inscription. It was made from red sandstone . A tall pillar stands on a modern base. On this pillar there is still a flat relief with the “Walk to Jerusalem” from the “ Seven Sorrows of Mary ”. Above it is a cross with a body in high relief. The wayside cross has been given a modern roof.
The wayside cross was entered on March 13, 1985 in the list of monuments of the municipality of Nörvenich under No. 10.
