A multi-tiered substructure rises above a base plate made of basalt lava, from the gable roof of which the multi-tiered base of the cross stem grows. On the stone slab recessed in the front of the substructure, the inscription can be read in Fraktur : Jesus our Redeemer. Maria our advocate. In memory of the mission in 1860. The base of the cross trunk bears the inscription:

Save your soul

In the three-pass niche above the inscription panel there is a small sculpture of the Virgin Mary with a child. A slender Latin cross with a corpus almost 100 cm in size ( Kevelaer type) and a curved inscription panel rises from the base of the cross trunk : INR I.

The object is important for human history and for cities and settlements. There is a public interest in its preservation and use for scientific, in particular artistic, architectural, local and folkloric reasons.
