The Roman Catholic listed ( list entry ) Wegkapelle Stellveder in the market town of Nenzing in the Feldkirch district in Vorarlberg belongs to the Walgau-Walsertal dean's office in the Feldkirch diocese .

location

The chapel (about 757  m above sea level ) is on the Gamperdonaweg in the Obere Stellveder plot . The building is about 1,650 meters as the crow flies from the Nenzing parish church .

history

The chapel was built in 1696 and was designed by Jörg Burkhmayer, Mich. Gantenbein and Krist. Bricklayer donated. In 1904 this chapel was rebuilt by a donor.

building

The single-storey building is a stone building free-standing on all sides with a rectangular basic shape and an open wooden vestibule in southwest / northeast orientation with a gable roof . In the southwest is the altarpiece.

In the wayside chapel a pilgrimage (Bibelweg) to begin Kühbruck , the chapel Kühbruck with nine stations. Bible verses that match the local conditions, mostly from the Book of Psalms , are attached to wooden panels at prominent places in nature .
