history

The old towners built the willow dam from 1454 to 1466 after the wooden bridge on Nassen Lomse Island was completed. It was planted with willows and initially served as a storage area . There was a classicist garden pavilion with a dome at the Kaiserbrücke .

Development plans for the Pregelufer put an early end to the Kürbishütte , a Koenigsberg poets' association around Simon Dach , in the 17th century . In 1737, Christoph Gottlieb Büttner built the first Theatrum anatomicum on Weidendamm from private funds .

The house shown was built by Friedrich Lahrs for Konrad Gaedeke . It came into the possession of George Marx , who sold it to the Corps Masovia in 1929 .
