32.01

Weinek is an impact crater to the east of the front of the moon , south of the Mare Nectaris , northeast of the Piccolomini crater and northwest of Neander .

The rim of the crater is moderately eroded, the interior largely flat. The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Austro-Hungarian astronomer Ladislaus Weinek .
