Wela Blagoewa
Vela Wiktoria Blagoewa ( Bulgarian Вела Благоева ; born September 29, 1859 in Veliko Tarnovo ; † July 21, 1921 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian writer and publicist.
Life
Together with her husband Dimityr Blagoew , who later founded the Bulgarian Communist Party , she published the first socialist newspaper in Bulgaria, the Sywremennij Pokasatel , in 1885 . In 1905 she founded a social democratic women's group.
She has written novels, short stories, short stories and studies on Bulgarian literature .
