Welitschko Welitschkow ( Bulgarian Величко Величков ; born April 10, 1934 in Pleven ) is a former Bulgarian sports shooter .

successes

Welitschko Welitschkow took part in four Olympic Games . In 1960 he took 64th place in Rome with the small bore rifle in the prone position and 14th place in the three-position fight. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 , he scored 592 points in the prone position and was tenth. In the three-position fight he scored 1152 points, with which he placed behind Lones Wigger and one point ahead of László Hammerl on the silver rank. Four years later in Mexico City , he finished the competition in the prone position as in 1960 in 64th place.

Welitschkow secured his only medal at world championships in Moscow in 1958 when he won silver with the small-bore rifle in the prone over 50 and 100 m.
