Chicago Marathon 2019

The 2019 Chicago Marathon (officially: Bank of America Chicago Marathon 2019 ) was the 42nd edition of the annual running event in Chicago , United States . The marathon took place on October 13, 2019 at 7:30 a.m. local time (2:30 p.m.  CEST ). It was the first run of the World Marathon Majors 2019/20 .

Lawrence Cherono won the men's race after 2:05:45 h. There was a new world record for women. Brigid Kosgei repeated her victory from the previous year and crossed the finish line after 2:14:04 h.
