The 2015 Chicago Marathon (officially: Bank of America Chicago Marathon 2015 ) was the 38th edition of the annual running event in Chicago , United States . The marathon took place on October 11, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. local time (2:30 p.m. CEST ). It was the sixth run of the World Marathon Majors 2015/16 and had the gold label of the IAAF Road Race Label Events 2015 .
In the men, Dickson Kiptolo Chumba won in 2:09:25 h, in the women Florence Jebet Kiplagat in 2:23:33 h.
