Lucas Kimeli Rotich (born April 16, 1990 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner .

Rotich won the silver medal in the 3000-meter run at the 2007 World Youth Athletics Championships in Ostrava . At the World Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh in 2008 , he finished third in the junior race and won the Nations Cup with the Kenyan team. Two years later he reached 18th place at the World Cross Country Championships in Bydgoszcz . At the Bislett Games in Oslo, he set a personal best in the 5000 meter run with 12: 55.06 minutes.

Since 2011 Rotich has also started more and more in road runs . On his debut on the half marathon distance he finished fifth in the CPC Loop Den Haag in 59:44 minutes. In the same year he won the Falmouth Road Race and finished second at the Beach to Beacon 10K and the Portugal Half Marathon in Lisbon. In addition, he achieved the second best time of the year in the 10,000-meter run at the Van Damme Memorial in Brussels with 26: 43.98 minutes behind the Ethiopian Kenenisa Bekele .

In 2015 he won the HASPA marathon in Hamburg in 2:07:17 h.
