Asplanchna sieboldi is a kind of the genus Asplanchna from the root of the rotifer .
description
female
The animals are 500–2500 µm in size. Your ovary is ribbon-shaped and there is a tooth on the inside of each jaw. The gastric glands are lapped and the receding wheel organ consists of 40 eyelashes.
male
The males are small as with all asplanchnes and consist almost entirely of their testicles .
habitat
The animals can be found as plankton in many clean waters , especially in summer .
