The Chicago Marathon 2002 (officially: LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon 2002 ) was the 25th edition of the annual running event in Chicago , United States . The marathon took place on October 13, 2002.

Khalid Khannouchi won the men in 2:05:56 h, in the women Paula Radcliffe with a new world record in 2:17:18 h.
