Abdelkader El Mouaziz

Abdelkader El Mouaziz (born January 1, 1969 in Settat , Chaouia-Ouardigha ) is a Moroccan long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .

In 1999 and 2002 he won the London Marathon , and in 2000 the New York City Marathon .

At the marathon of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney he was seventh, at the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton sixth.

He set his best time of 2:06:46 in fifth in the 2002 Chicago Marathon .

El Mouaziz is the runner with the most sub-2:10 marathons - a total of 13 times he has remained below this mark.
