The Chicago Marathon 2000 (officially: LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon 2000 ) was the 23rd edition of the annual running event in Chicago , United States . The marathon took place on October 22, 2000.

Khalid Khannouchi won the men in 2:07:01 h, and the women Catherine Ndereba in 2:21:33 h.
