Triff ... is a German documentary fiction series for children on behalf of KiKA , which, after a pilot episode with Amy Mußul, appeared on Reformation Day 2017 from January 20, 2019 in a three-part season with Clarissa Corrêa da Silva . In the series, the presenter uses a time machine to meet famous historical personalities, which is intended to convey their lives and work to children.
The second season aired from January 12, 2020. In addition, on January 11th, KiKA published a video series Meet famous women scientists on YouTube .

Charisma
The pilot about Martin Luther was first broadcast on Reformation Day in 2017 as part of KiKA's special program from October 28th to 31st on the 500th anniversary of the Reformation . On October 1, 2018, KiKA announced that the story format would be continued with three more episodes after the success of the pilot episode; these should then be broadcast in May 2019 on the 500th anniversary of da Vinci's death. The three episodes and, in repetition, the pilot episode were then broadcast from January 20, 2019 as part of a special programming of selected knowledge formats by ARD, ZDF and KiKA at the start of 2019.
On September 17, 2019, the shooting for a second season was announced with episodes about Marie Curie , Alexander the Great and Harriet Tubman and, on the occasion of his 250th birthday, about Ludwig van Beethoven , in which the WDR is involved in the production for the first time . The respective actors of the historical personalities are said to be Inez Bjørg David , Alexander Milz , Nancy Mensah-Offei and Viktor Tremmel. On December 4, it was announced that the second season will air from January 12, 2020. There will also be a special format on kika.de and YouTube called "Meet famous women scientists" with short animated portraits of ten women scientists, including Ada Lovelace , Hedy Lamarr , Alice Ball and Wang Zhenyi . The second season is the first completely barrier-free KiKA offer.
