World Marathon Majors 2019/20

The thirteenth series of the World Marathon Majors started in October 2019 and should end in September 2020.

Rating

Up to nine races should be included in the evaluation of this running cup : the Chicago and New York City Marathon 2019 and the Tokyo , Boston , London , Berlin and Chicago 2020, as well as the men's marathon the 2019 world Championships in Athletics in Doha and the marathon of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo . Due to the Covid-19 pandemic , some marathons have been canceled.

Points were awarded as follows, with a maximum of two results being scored for each runner:

  • 25 for a win
  • 16 for a secondary placement
  • 9 for a third place
  • 4 for a fourth place
  • 1 for fifth place
