Stephen Mokoka

Stephen Mokoka (born January 31, 1985 ) is a South African long-distance runner .

In 2009 he took part in the Half Marathon World Championships , which were held in Birmingham , for which he needed 1:01:36 h.

On August 12, 2012, he took part in the London 2012 Olympic Games marathon . It took him 2:19:52 hours, which meant 49th place.

At the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow , he ran in the 10,000 meter run in 20th place. In December 2013, he won the Shanghai Marathon with 2:09:30 h.

In 2014 he won the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow on October 5th with 1:01:25 h. In November he repeated his success from the previous year at the Shanghai Marathon. This time it took 2:08:43 h.

In 2015 he ran in the 10,000 meter run at the World Championships in Beijing with 28:47:40 minutes in 20th place.

Mokaka has also triumphed four times on the half marathon route at the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town (2009, 2013, 2014 and 2015).
