World Marathon Majors 2017/18

The eleventh series of the World Marathon Majors started in April 2017 and ended in April 2018. As in the pre-series, Eliud Kipchoge won the men's race . In the women’s category, Mary Jepkosgei Keitany won for the third time after 2011/12 and 2015/16.

Rating

Eight races were included in the evaluation of this running cup : the London , Berlin , Chicago and New York City Marathon 2017 and the Tokyo , Boston and London Marathon 2018, as well as the marathon of the 2017 World Athletics Championships in London .

Points were awarded as follows, with a maximum of two results being scored for each runner:

  • 25 for a win
  • 16 for a secondary placement
  • 9 for a third place
  • 4 for a fourth place
  • 1 for fifth place
