Mosinet Geremew (born February 12, 1992 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .

On November 27, 2011, he was the first to cross the finish line at the Great Ethiopian Run in Addis Ababa with 28:37 minutes.

In 2012 he won the Paderborn Easter run over the 10-kilometer route after 27:53 minutes.

In mid-February 2015 he won the RAK half marathon in Ra's al-Khaimah after 1:00:05 h. On April 19, he won the Yangzhou Jianzhen Half Marathon with a new course record in 59:52 minutes. In May he won the World 10K Bangalore . At the World Athletics Championships in Beijing , he finished 11th in the 10,000 meter run .

In 2016 he successfully defended his title at the Yangzhou Jianzhen Half Marathon. In 2017, he finished second in the Xiamen Marathon in 2:10:20 hours and won the Yangzhou Jianzhen Half Marathon for the third time in a row.

In 2018 he won the Dubai Marathon in a track record time of 2:04:00 hours. At the Yangzhou Jianzhen Half Marathon, he ran to his fourth victory at this event. He won the Buenos Aires half marathon with a new course record of 59:48 minutes. In the Chicago Marathon , he finished second behind the British Mo Farah .

In March 2019, he won the Lisbon half marathon in 59:37 minutes. At the end of April, he ran in 2:02:55 hours in the London Marathon behind Eliud Kipchoge, who was the second fastest marathon runner of all time.
