Wellington House is a historic building in Jamestown on the island of St. Helena . As a Grade I structure, it enjoys the highest monument protection and is one of the best preserved buildings from the times of the East India Company . It is named after the Duke of Wellington and now houses a guest house and restaurant .

Wellington House was believed to have been built in the late 1730s on the site of the previously collapsed Sessions House . Francis Wrangham received the necessary building permit in 1738.
