World of Animals is a weekly documentary series by the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation on the subjects of animals and nature. German and international television productions are shown

From 2000 to September 2003 the series ran sporadically in continuation of the Zoo & Co series on Bavarian television . It was broadcast regularly from September 28, 2003. Individual episodes of the series also run on ARD-alpha , 3sat , SWR and other third-party programs. By early 2015, 592 episodes had been broadcast.

Name duplication

From 1978 to 1980 the evening program of the First German Television showed a 50-part series of the same name, which was moderated by Dietmar Schönherr .
