World Championships in Modern Pentathlon 1953
In 1953 the world championships in modern pentathlon took place in Santo Domingo , Chile , and thus for the first time on American soil. Lars Hall won his sixth world title and for the first time the Hungarians stepped onto the stage of the modern pentathlon.
