The 2011 Cannon Kirk Homes Irish Squash Open took place in Dublin , Ireland from April 11-16, 2011 . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2010/11 and belonged to the International 25 category . The women's tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2010/11 and belonged to the Silver 25 category .

Defending champions were Mohd Azlan Iskandar , who did not run again, and Madeline Perry , who reached the semi-finals that year. Tarek Momen defeated Stewart Boswell in the final with 12:10, 11: 7, 8:11 and 11: 3. In the women’s category, Nour El Tayeb beat Jaclyn Hawkes with 13:15, 5:11, 11: 8, 13:11 and 16:14.

Vanessa Atkinson announced in the run-up to the tournament that her career would end after the Irish Open. She was eliminated in the semifinals against Nour El Tayeb with 2: 3.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The four best players were seeded. For the women, the main field also comprised 16 starting places, four of which were for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. Wildcards were not given.
