Tenille van der Merwe (* 13. May 1987 in Parys as Tenille Swartz ) is a former South African squash player .

Career

Tenille van der Merwe started her professional career in 2006 and won two titles on the WSA World Tour . Their highest placing in the world rankings, it reached rank 28 in April 2008. With the South African national team took in 2004 , 2006 and 2010 at the World Cup in part. In addition, she was part of the 2005 World Games and 2006 World Championships in doubles and mixed and the Commonwealth Games . In singles, she was in the main draw of the World Cup in 2006 and 2010 , where she was eliminated in the first round both times. Between 2005 and 2011 she was five times South African national champion. She ended her career in December 2011.
