Wennemar Voet

Wennemar Voet (* in the 15th century ; † May 17, 1509 ) was Vice-Dominus and Canon in the Principality of Münster .

Life

Wennemar Voet was born as the son of Rudolf Voet zu Kolvenburg and his wife Jutta von Wüllen. On August 25, 1456, he was first mentioned in a document as the canon of Münster. In 1478 he succeeded Dietrich Haver as Vice Dominus and thus became Archdeacon to Rorup . In this function Wennemar was the deputy of the sovereign . It was owned by the Obedience Helle and owned a cathedral canonical in Osnabrück . Wennemar died as a cathedral senior in Münster.
