Wente (unit)

The Wente was a measure of area in the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg . The measure depended on the seed rate of grain .

The dimensional chain was

  • 1 acre (Oldenburg) = 2 2/9 wente = 6 hunte = 350 square rods (old) = 122.56 ares (= 122.5714 ares)
