Kömertshof is a hamlet in the Bissingen market in the Swabian district of Dillingen on the Danube . It is located one kilometer east of Warnhofen on the right side of the Peterbach.

history

The Kömertshof is mentioned for the first time in 1236 as "Kunebdreheshoven". Ulrich von Hohenburg bequeathed the estate to his daughter, who called herself Adelheid von Kömertshof. She sold her property in 1270 to the Zimmer monastery , which was secularized by the Protestant Counts of Oettingen-Oettingen in 1557/58 as part of the Reformation . Kömertshof was incorporated into the high-rise rule by the landlords . In 1700 the court came to the Counts of Oettingen-Wallerstein, who sold their property to an Augsburg patrician as early as 1704 . In 1787 the princes of Oettingen-Wallerstein acquired the estate again with 300 acres of land, a mill , a forge and a brewery and managed it through their domain administration .

After the Second World War , six courtyards were created for displaced persons , the buildings of which were built by the Bavarian State Settlement Society of the same type .

Religions

From 1309 to 1685, the Augsburg Cathedral Chapter owned the income from the parish in Kömertshof. The little church dedicated to St. Georg , was demolished at the beginning of the 19th century.
