history

In 1939 the railway tracks in the cement plant, including connecting railway became the Austrian Federal Railways built and Ardelt - diesel locomotive type NB procured 150th This locomotive was called Locomotive 1. In 1966 a second locomotive was acquired, which was bought by Deutsche Sprengstoffchemie and added to the inventory as locomotive 2. Operation in the present

The works railway transports around 375,000 tons of cement to Gmunden station every year. From there, the onward transport takes place with diesel locomotives of the type Siemens ER20 from Stern & Hafferl on behalf of Rail Cargo Austria . The track is 4.14 kilometers long and has 22 points . All tasks are carried out with the "Henriette" shunting robot. The factory shift is radio-controlled.
