Werner Creutzfeldt Prize
The Werner Creutzfeldt Prize is a science prize that is awarded once a year by the German Diabetes Society . It is aimed at researching physicians and natural scientists for outstanding work in the field of pathophysiology and therapy of diabetes mellitus , particularly with a focus on research in the field of "gastrointestinal hormones". The prize donor is Lilly Deutschland GmbH , the dedication name goes back to Werner Creutzfeldt . The prize is endowed with € 10,000.
