The Werner-Jaeger-Halle in Lobberich is a theater with 500 seats and municipal gallery of the city of Nettetal . The Werner-Jaeger-Gymnasium also uses the building as a school auditorium . The hall is named after Werner Jaeger , one of the leading classical philologists of the 20th century, who was born in Lobberich.

The hall has been extensively renovated since 2019 . PCB and asbestos were discovered during the work . Their removal and disposal as well as other factors have contributed to the fact that the renovation is significantly more expensive than originally forecast.
