Werner Arnold (born July 6, 1930 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

After two seasons for BC Augsburg in the Oberliga Süd and four seasons for FC Bayern Hof , the first still in the 2nd Oberliga Süd , Arnold was a member of the FC Bayern Munich squad at the age of 32 , for which he was in the 1962 season / 63 played three league games. He made his debut in the top German league at the time on October 7, 1962 (8th matchday) in a 3-2 win at home against KSV Hessen Kassel . His two other point games were won on January 20, 1963 (19th matchday) and on May 5, 1963 (25th matchday) home against TSG Ulm 1846 and away against Karlsruher SC each with 3-1 goals.

In his second season , in the second-rate Regionalliga Süd , due to the Bundesliga founded in 1963 as the highest German division, he only played the last two games of the season on May 24th and 31st, 1964. These ended with a 4-6 defeat in the home game against the TSG Ulm 1846 and with a 3-3 draw in the away game against Spvgg. 03 Neu-Isenburg , who had to relegate to the third-class 1st amateur league Hessen .
