Werner Berg (* 1940 ) is a German Roman Catholic Old Testament scholar .

Life

After receiving his doctorate ( the so-called fragments of hymns in the Amos book ) in 1974 as Dr. theol. in Munich and his habilitation in 1978 ( the reception of Old Testament motifs in the New Testament. Depicted in the Seewalker stories ) there he taught as a professor of Catholic theology in Bochum .
